The Supermoon is a stunning 20 foot in diameter art installation, available for events. museum and art gallery displays.

This traveling installation was commissioned by photographer and artist Larry Zamba. His objective is to fascinate, inspire and astound viewers. The inflatable Super Moon is designed from NASA photographs of the lunar landscape. Every inch of this inflatable sculpture represents 3 miles of the moon’s surface. You can see every mountain and impact crater on its surface.

It is called the Super Moon because that the name given to the Moon when its orbit takes it closest to the Earth.

The Super Moon can be uniquely experienced either indoors or outdoors. As a traveling exhibit the Super Moon can provide a breathtaking sense of wonderment to everyone who encounters it, especially at night. The Super Moon is an astonishing work of internally lit art.

The Super Moon serves many lunar-themed purposes. Its beauty and sheer enormity it will naturally bring in people to any event. It also can become an incredible collaboration of art, architecture and nature which can be enhanced even further with external lighting. An original musical score featuring lunar sounds may also be included in the showing.

To enhance the lunar experience, we can also provide a replica of an Apollo 11 A7L space suit - the kind used when humans first stepped on the Moon, that can be worn at the event by an actor.
